The Address of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan is the annual address of the head of state to the Parliament.
It is a political and legal document expressing the vision of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the strategic directions of the country’s development in the near future. It includes both provisions of a political, economic, ideological nature, as well as specific proposals regarding the legislative work of the Parliament.

In today’s message, the head of state summed up the results of the implementation of what was laid down in his very first address of September 2, 2019. I would like to highlight this important point.

The second important point is that the President’s current address is post-COVID. That is, it sums up the results of the fight against coronavirus infection. Accordingly, the main points on this issue were analyzed and new goals were identified within the framework of the address.

The third point, which in my opinion is important, is that instructions were given to the government of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the country’s development strategy. Those guidelines that the president laid down, we should see in the next two months in the form of specific legislative acts.

The Government, Parliament, political parties, including «Amanat», indicated that most of the points will be included in the program of legislative work or in the programs of political parties. That is, in many ways, the address sets priorities and guidelines for further development.

The fourth important point of the address is the development of regions. The address outlines new rules for working on the development of regions and gives a new assessment of regional policy.

Also, the fifth important point is related to the support of youth and demographic policy. This is one of the highest priority areas for our country, given the current demographic situation in the country.
